LOVE YOUR LIFE AND THE PEOPLE IN IT!

I really LOVE this family photo taken by Tonya.  I feel it is a true representation of our fun and our love for each other.  We are always laughing and making faces with one another.  This to me...is what family is about.  Are we always in good moods or "perfect"....absolutely not, but there are these beautiful moments like this that she catches that makes me and my heart smile.

I will always love being a mommy and wife and when people ask what our secret is for staying together for a while (especially at my age - 35 going on 36 next month - YIKES!!).  I usually say it is that we give each other our space to be free and when we are together, we love and have fun.  I trust Tony fully and I know he will do whatever it takes to protect his family.  He is MY person who knows a lot about me and knows I can be quiet when I am mad or sad and playful when I am happy.

Your family should be the love you enjoy day in and day out.  I never thought I would have a kid so seeing this photo makes it even more magical, I guess you can say.  Seeing Shawn's face light up makes me know that I have something worth living and fighting for.  They both give me purpose and I am blessed to call them mine.

There is no greater blessing than the love from your family so hold them close, squeeze them a little longer, and laugh with them a long time.  Just plain get silly and have fun!!  Otherwise what is the point of life...am I right?

That to me, is what will keep your family close and connected.  That is why I have been married for almost 15 years and together for 17 years.  It hasn't always been easy, but I never give up on them.  They give me a reason to love the life I am in and make me feel like I matter.  What a joy a family brings to the table.

What about you?  Do you love your life and the people in it?  If not, than is forgiveness in order?  Sometimes we think THEY should change, but than we look deep within ourselves and find that we need some work too.  No one is ever perfect, but working together to make relationships last is how we grow and learn from each other.  Believe me...your family is always worth fighting for.
